Agapanthus 'Navy Blue' AGM

Agapanthus 'Navy Blue' remains one of our most popular agapanthus. The flower colour is striking blue with buds that open in to star-like blue flowers held on strong slender stems. Fill your pots with them or plant directly in to the ground, either way they make a dramatic, floriferous display in midsummer. We like to leave the faded flower/seed heads on through the winter for seed head winter interest. 'Navy Blue' has lovely slim leaves which will die back over the winter.

Agapanthus like it hot, sunny and well-drained for prolific midsummer flowering. Great in a container or directly in the ground. Feed and water well during the summer months if kept in a container, allow to dry out in-between watering. Be careful not to over-pot to maximise the amount of flower produced. Fully herbaceous in winter.
